Mrs D Selvon
I have been teaching at Little Parndon for 7 years.
I began my journey here as a PGCE student in 2012. Throughout my PGCE I was given the opportunity to teach in Foundation Stage and KS1. However, since being employed by Little Parndon I have remained in EYFS which is where my passion and expertise lie.
During my career my roles have also included curriculum leader of Science, and in 2016 I became a Lead Practitioner for Creativity, which also includes the curriculum leader of Music.
I am very passionate about my role here at Little Parndon and I enjoy being faced with fresh and exciting challenges. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of the EYFS team and strongly believe that the Foundation Stage year is important for every child as it prepares them to be ready for all of their future learning and success, and I love to see children, throughout the year, grow up to become confident and independent learners, through exploring, and learning in a play-based environment.
Outside of school I enjoy going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.
