Mr J Kotun
PE Teacher/Lead EYFS/KS1/KS2
This is my fourth year as PE co-ordinator and teacher at Little Parndon. I’ve been in education over 12 years now, starting as a TA and then progressing to teaching in a school based in Walthamstow. During this time I spent with that school, I undertook various roles; starting as an SEN one to one support worker, leading to a learning mentor and ending my time as a PE Coordinator and teacher.
In 2017, I joined Little Parndon Academy, as a PE co-ordinator and teacher. I have had the joy of working with KS1 and KS2, and not forgetting the foundation stage! During this time, I have had the opportunity to teach and engage the children in the advantages of living a healthy and active lifestyle, which is a personal mission of mine!
I’m lucky enough to be working alongside a fantastic team, consisting of many dedicated educators who all share my dream of ‘every child matters’ and ‘PE can be fun and educating’.
When I have time away from the school I enjoy photography and travelling to many different destinations, experiencing local culture and food. As a qualified PT, you will also find me in the gym, practising what I preach! Football is my first love, and being a London lad there is only one team….Arsenal!!
