It's been lovely welcoming the children back to school. Expectations for the new year are being embeded, and learning is underway. Additionally, our year 4 students are adapting to their new learning approach using iPads  - "shaping futures through education."

Yesterday, our Year 6 class, Oak, had an unforgettable day at Quasar playing laser tag. It was a great way to celebrate them completing their SATs and the start of the countdown to them moving to secondary school.

An enormous THANK YOU to everyone who attended our book fair. We managed to sell £1301 worth of books, which will give us over £700 in vouchers to spend on books for the school. A huge thank you to Miss Budd for organising the event and to everyone who helped run it!

We’re thrilled to announce the installation of two brand-new sensory rooms at LPA, designed to support the wellbeing and development of our children! ✨ Our Padded Room – linked to The Grove provision, with a vibroacoustic chair and projector, offers a safe, calming space.

Yesterday, our youngest children extended their learning on dinosaurs by going to Hertfordshire Zoo. The children had a talk, walked through dinosaur land and later got to see some of the other animals in the zoo. They all had an amazing time, even though it was COLD!

At Little Parndon Primary Academy, we strive to keep our parents and carers well-informed and engaged with school life through our bi-weekly newsletter. Each newsletter is packed with important information about school events, announcements, and key dates to keep you up-to-date with what’s happening at our school.

Our newsletter also provides insights into what your child's class will be learning in the coming week, helping you stay connected with their educational journey. Additionally, we celebrate the hard work and achievements of our pupils, recognising their efforts and accomplishments in various areas.

The newsletter will be sent to you in email via ParentPay. If you have not received this, please inform the school office and we will attempt to solve the problem or have them printed for you.

We believe that regular communication with parents and carers is crucial in fostering a supportive and collaborative school community. By sharing updates and celebrating successes, our newsletter aims to enhance the partnership between home and school, ensuring that every child’s experience at Little Parndon is positive and enriching.
