An enormous THANK YOU to everyone who attended our book fair. We managed to sell £1301 worth of books, which will give us over £700 in vouchers to spend on books for the school. A huge thank you to Miss Budd for organising the event and to everyone who helped run it!

We’re thrilled to announce the installation of two brand-new sensory rooms at LPA, designed to support the wellbeing and development of our children! ✨ Our Padded Room – linked to The Grove provision, with a vibroacoustic chair and projector, offers a safe, calming space.

Yesterday, our youngest children extended their learning on dinosaurs by going to Hertfordshire Zoo. The children had a talk, walked through dinosaur land and later got to see some of the other animals in the zoo. They all had an amazing time, even though it was COLD!

At LPA, we've launched several new curriculum areas over the past two years. Among these is our art curriculum. In Year 6 they explore the works of the artist Rembrandt. The first image shows their initial draft, while the second displays the final version after feedback.

Year 5 Dive into Learning at Sea Life Centre!

Year 5 had a fantastic day out this week as they visited the Sea Life Centre in Southend-on-Sea. The children explored a wide variety of marine creatures, from graceful rays to mesmerising jellyfish, and even got up close to some curious sharks! The visit linked beautifully with their science and geography topics, helping bring classroom learning to life in an exciting, hands-on way.

After the Sea Life Centre, the children enjoyed some well-earned fun on the beach. With the sun shining, they built sandcastles, played games, and made wonderful memories with their friends.

It was a brilliant day full of learning, laughter, and discovery - a huge thank you to all the staff who made the trip possible!
