Yesterday, our youngest children extended their learning on dinosaurs by going to Hertfordshire Zoo. The children had a talk, walked through dinosaur land and later got to see some of the other animals in the zoo. They all had an amazing time, even though it was COLD! #TheLPAWay

At LPA, we've launched several new curriculum areas over the past two years. Among these is our art curriculum. In Year 6 they explore the works of the artist Rembrandt. The first image shows their initial draft, while the second displays the final version after feedback.

Sports Day 2025!

What an incredible Sports Day we had at Little Parndon Primary Academy! Under the blazing summer sun, the children showed true determination, teamwork and sportsmanship across a wide range of exciting activities and races.

Despite the hot weather, every pupil gave their all and supported one another brilliantly throughout the day. From sprints and obstacle courses to relay races and team games, the field was full of energy, laughter and encouragement.

A huge well done to all the children for taking part with such enthusiasm - and special congratulations to the Blue Team, who were crowned the overall winners of Sports Day 2025!

Thank you to all the staff for organising such a fun and memorable event, and to the families who came along to cheer on the children. It was a brilliant day that captured the spirit of our school perfectly!
