An enormous THANK YOU to everyone who attended our book fair. We managed to sell £1301 worth of books, which will give us over £700 in vouchers to spend on books for the school. A huge thank you to Miss Budd for organising the event and to everyone who helped run it!

We’re thrilled to announce the installation of two brand-new sensory rooms at LPA, designed to support the wellbeing and development of our children! ✨ Our Padded Room – linked to The Grove provision, with a vibroacoustic chair and projector, offers a safe, calming space.

Yesterday, our youngest children extended their learning on dinosaurs by going to Hertfordshire Zoo. The children had a talk, walked through dinosaur land and later got to see some of the other animals in the zoo. They all had an amazing time, even though it was COLD!

At LPA, we've launched several new curriculum areas over the past two years. Among these is our art curriculum. In Year 6 they explore the works of the artist Rembrandt. The first image shows their initial draft, while the second displays the final version after feedback.

Celebrating World Book Day in style!

Little Parndon was bursting with bookish excitement as we celebrated World Book Day in style! Children arrived dressed as their favourite book characters or in cosy pyjamas, ready for a day dedicated to the joy of reading.

Throughout the day, pupils took part in a range of exciting, book-themed activities - from designing story settings and creating bookmarks to taking part in character quizzes and storytelling sessions. One of the highlights of the day was when classes paired up to enjoy shared reading across year groups, with older children reading to younger ones and vice versa.

It was wonderful to see the school filled with such a love of reading, creativity, and imagination. A big thank you to all families for the effort put into costumes and to staff for making the day so magical!
