VE Day Assembly
Posted: 13th November 2016
On Friday 11th November, following a 2 minutes silence in the morning for Remembrance Day, students from Little Parndon held a special assembly to end their unit learning about World War II and VE Day. Dressed in an array of war time costumes, including some very impressive military uniforms, the children performed a selection of songs from the era, including 'It's a long way to Tipperary' and the Andrew Sisters' 'Boogie woogie bugle boy.' Not to be outdone by the students, the staff were also dressed accordingly, including Mr Evans wearing a Spitfire...
The assembly culminated with a mass dance to Glen Miller's classic 'In The Mood' whilst the kitchen served themed meals.
